Time flies..

It's been awhile since I've written--my apologies.  It has been a crazy month.  I think every week except for one week we have had company or houseguests--really fun, but not a whole lot of extra time when you couple that with work and school.

Life, where to begin.  It has been a good journey lately, full of God's unexpected provision and love... so sweet. I find myself falling more and more in love with him.  I love him. I'm in love with him. There are bumps in the road.  Just this week I had a very emotional trying week relationally.  And so I've been fighting to have his heart in all circumstances.  It's so hard, but so good. I realized through this trial this week that that is my dream, my ultimate desire--to carry his heart in all circumstances.  To agree with what's in His heart, even when my flesh disagrees.  And it's so hard some days to fight for that.  But I am fighting for that.  So it's been good.

I struggle to see myself like He sees me... I struggle to see something loveable, desireable, and full of beauty, and yet I know it's true.  So we're working in this area, bringing healing and restoration.  Beauty for ashes right? :)

On a lighter side, I am starting to work out again.. woot woot.  It is time to battle the bulge.  no more excuses, no more hiding.  My pastor said that he started working out again and told his trainer that he didn't want to be another fat pastor.  I loved this! (In fact, at one point when he was tired and wanted to give up on a rep, the trainer yelled at him "one more, fat pastor"... it motivated him...love it!) Well.. i don't want to be a fat missionary/pastor either.  And I know this is WAY in the future, but I dont' wanna be a fat mama either.  So, I'm allowing my futuristic strength to help motivate me and I am starting to work out again today.  yay! In fact, when I finish typing this I am going to start doing what is called Burst Training and Burpees.  That's right.  Essentially what you do for Burst Training is you run, jump rope, etc at max speed for 30-45 seconds and then rest for 1-2 minutes.  Repeat this 4 times.  What it does is burns all your sugar so that your body will burn fat for the next 36 hours. Burpees...well research them if you're curious.

I would take prayer in all of the journies mentioned above... lots of prayer covering! :)

Love you all! Will make sure next time its not a month before you hear from me again :)
